I know I usually just write for the ladies, but I have to make an acception today. I recently saw a lovely pic of Mr. David Beckham at a movie premiere, and he looked GREAT!! He wasn’t even wearing a suit, but I guess you can call it casual chic. It looks like an everyday outfit, but you know he had several stylists help him with it. How can we pull off such a stunning yet relaxed look?

I had to do a post strictly dedicated to the celebrate today and all the madness that is Halloween. I would like to dress up as something, but I have no idea what that something’s gonna be….yet. But I did see an interesting tidbit that mixed fashion and the holiday. Someone has found a way to celebrate and throw in a bit of Chanel on the side….literally. Happy Halloween everybody, and I hope you all are safe and fashionable tonight!!

I haven’t invested or worn a scarf in years, I don’t personally know why though. I think it’s because I associate them with childhood or the elderly. Recently, I have been opening up to the possibility to wearing one, but not the kind you wear to bundle up during the winter months. I’m talking about the kind you wear to accent a nice pants suit, similar to this. Think of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, it’s a classy touch for a classy lady.

Just Bag It

We all know how there was a major trend of large slouch bags going on for this past year. But I have seen some alternatives for the slouch bag, or should I say a rise of a new bag. Some designers such as Chanel, and one of my personal favorites Balenciaga, have released some great bags with more of a structured look to them. I would suggest buying one in a dark gray, as opposed to black. It’s something about it that’s soft and serious at the same time. Here are some examples of other brands that you can you should check out. I saw some of these last year and I knew they would be making a serious impact.

It’s good to know that I wasn’t the only one who noticed that metallic items were in style. There is nothing wrong with adding a little sparkle or sheen to your wardrobe, and there are several cute ways you can accent an outfit using metallics without being too over the top. You can be subtle and invest in accessories, such as gold or silver purses, earrings, necklaces, or bangles. But, if you want to make more of a serious statement throw on a metallic jacket, or shimmery blouse. Either way you will look great and definitely stand out and get noticed.
